About Me:
|
The first five years of my tender young life were spent in Mitcham, Surrey until the family moved to Harlow, Essex in 1962. There we all remained until, much to the relief of my mum, dad and younger brother Pete, I finally got a job and left home, ten years later. I now live in deepest darkest south Somerset, England in a village called Templecombe. I originally moved here in 1983 due to my job and now, very much, consider it my home. Or will do when the mortgage is finally paid! I now work in Yeovil, as a technical author, for a contracting company to Agusta Westland Helicopters Ltd. I have been a confirmed West Ham United fan for many years and spent far too much money in my youth, following the Hammers. Living as I do in the West Country I don't get many opportunities to see them on a regular basis anymore, and locally I follow Yeovil Town, who are currently in the Coca Cola Division 1. My wife Janet, and I, are avid followers of the British Touring Car Championships (BTCC) and can usually be found trackside at 'exotic' locations such as Thruxton, Donington Park and Brands Hatch during the motor racing season.
